Wisteria Vine (وسٹیریا بیل)


  • Scientific Name: Chinese Wisteria
  • Common Name: Bengal trumpet, blue skyflower, clockvine and skyvine.
  • Description: A deciduous vine that grows vigorously to 25′ or more and features 6-12” long racemes of mildly-fragrant, pea-like, blue-violet flowers in May when the foliage is just beginning to expand.
  • Uses: The seed is diuretic. It is used in the treatment of heart ailments. One report says that the stems and flowers are also used in Chinese medicine.

Soil Requirement Plant wisteria in fertile, moist, but well-draining soil. If your soil is in poor condition, add compost; otherwise, wisteria will grow in most soils.
Envoirnment Aglaonema prefers indirect bright light. It can adapt to low light, but the growth will slow considerably. Direct morning sunlight is fine for this plant, but avoid direct afternoon sunlight which can burn the leaves.
Watering Chinese wisteria blooms in sun or partial shade, while Japanese wisteria needs full sun and cool climate.
